Adaptive fitness

An Inclusive Fitness Program Built Around Accessibility

Adaptive fitness means adjusting physical activities, movement choices, equipment and intensity around a person's mobility, comfort and individual abilities. In the EverForwardFit app, this approach is reflected through seated exercises, different workout levels and flexible equipment options. Rather than offering the same routine to everyone, the app helps wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities choose practical ways to make fitness accessible and reduce barriers to physical activity.

For you

Accessible Fitness for People With Disabilities and Health Conditions

Choose in-app workouts that match your mobility, experience and individual abilities. EverForwardFit gives wheelchair users, people with disabilities and people with limited mobility flexible options for building a routine at home, in a gym or with support from a caregiver. The Android app provides clear workout choices while recognizing that every user may need different movements, equipment and levels of intensity depending on comfort, mobility and health conditions.

Inside the EverForwardFit app, users can choose focused seated workouts for upper-body strength, core control and back training. Each workout path is part of a flexible fitness program designed to make adaptive exercise clear and manageable without requiring a full gym. Regular physical activities may support physical health, mental well-being, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness when the selected exercises are appropriate for the individual. Results and the benefits of exercise can depend on consistency, comfort, personal ability and professional guidance when needed.

Our story

Built From Lived Experience

EverForwardFit was created from lived experience with spinal cord injury, wheelchair life, rehabilitation and adaptive fitness training.

Its founder, Irina Tribushevskaia, became a wheelchair user after sustaining a spinal cord injury in 2022 and had to rebuild many parts of her daily life, including physical activity. Rehabilitation and regular gym training showed her how seated exercises could be adapted to different levels of mobility and to the equipment available at home or in a gym. She also saw how difficult it could be to find clear and practical workout guidance for wheelchair users.

With a professional background in digital and Internet technologies, Irina created EverForwardFit as an Android adaptive fitness app for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility. The app brings seated workouts, visual instructions, workout levels, equipment choices, progress tracking and nutrition planning together in one accessible format.

EverForwardFit is not medical treatment and does not replace rehabilitation or professional guidance. It focuses on practical adaptive workouts, choice and steady progress.
